NOTW and one of their exclusives

Yeah, I dunno.

Long-suffering Kenny Goss issued the stark ultimatum after the Wake Me Up star was nicked, yet again, in a public loo—this time with the killer form of cocaine.

Long-suffering? If it was that bad, he could have packed his bags years ago. Nobody put a gun to his head, at any given time, and there’s no marriage license. This is the thing in any relationship: If you don’t like it and don’t wanna be there – leave.

And I’m sorry, but I don’t buy that he’s on cocaine. The killer form or not. He may well like ‘living on the edge’ but I don’t think he’s that stupid. We’ve learned by now that if George has tried something, he’ll talk about it – and all he’s said about cocaine is that he’d never do it. I’d sooner believe he had Ecstacy.

What I don’t get in all this is… If he had possessed cocaine, or in fact any class-A drug, would he have been let off with a warning? Possession of a class-A drug is up to seven years in prison or an unlimited fine – or both. What, the police were just in a good mood this particular weekend and thought it was cute that he had more than just cannabis this time round?

Now George is heading to rehab in an effort to tackle his love for narcotics once and for all— and to win back his fella.

Right… George in rehab… That would be admitting he has a problem, which he wouldn’t. We’ve all heard him say he doesn’t have a problem with addiction (except for sex-addiction, obviously…)(and sleeping pills…), so unless this is some recent admittance, then I can’t see him going to rehab to please anyone. Unless, of course, he’s come to some grand realisation that it’s time.

My source reveals: “It was the final straw for Kenny. They’ve been together 12 years but enough is enough and he’s given George an ultimatum: the drugs or him. Falling in love with crack cocaine is something Kenny will not tolerate.”

I would have applauded him for this ultimatum if I thought this article was actually based on facts.

  1. There is a picture of George and Kenny traveling around Africa right now. Soo.. George decided to go on a holiday before admitting himself to Rehab. Where in the world do people come up with these things. Kenny might be over some of the shit thats involved in his relationship, but something tells me he isn’t going anywhere.

  2. Yeah – I think they made this story up for one reason: they think that saying that Kenny threatened to end the relationship is the one sure thing to wind George up big-time.

Thing is, though, I suspect they’ve done so much of this that George and Kenny will be immune to it now.

I could believe, though, that George is on crack. Something obviously isn’t right with him – there’s no need to wander the streets when high on drugs. At some point, he needs to sort himself out and give the drugs up. It’s not like drugs are *that* exciting.

  3. Yeah…drugs are SO 1970’s…or should that be 1980’s…er…90’s?

Anyway, drugs are SO ‘last week’…well…Friday before last anyway?

  4. I do not honestly think Kenny will ever leave George. For that relationship to end it would have to be George that ends it IMO, and ain’t no way that’s going to happen either – they both get to do whatever they please and still have each other at the end of it, so what incentive is there for either of them to look beyond their current lifestyle? I think there is a lot of love there but I don’t truthfully think it’s the healthiest of relationships, purely for the obvious amount of co-dependence present. They say that behind every addict there is an enabler. They have been / are both addicts and George never seems to learn his lesson. I don’t doubt that Kenny has been good for him but I also recognize that there is a limit to how much he can help George – ultimately he has to do that for himself.

  5. It’s good to be high …

    … on emotion ;)

I reckon that the class A drugs were just enough for his own consumption. That’s a reasonable argument that they let him go with a warning.

  6. I am almost positive it was Ecstasy and not crack/cocaine. He’s said in interviews that he’s a “weed and ecstasy” kind of guy himself and he does seem to prefer the mellower, touchy-feely drugs over the harder stuff. As far as enabling goes, well, the pair are, at best, very hedonistic. And Kenny has, in the past, checked himself into an Arizona rehab clinic for alcohol (or was it pills?). Anyway, hope they’re having fun on their safari…
